The Versatile Blogger Award

versatile

Thank you so much to The Mommiest Introvert for the nomination! Be sure to check out this lovely lady’s blog and give her a follow!

The Rules of the Versatile Blogger Award:

  1. Thank the person who gave you this award, and include a link to their blog.
  2. Nominate blogs that you’ve recently discovered or follow regularly.
  3. Share 7 things about yourself that people might not know.

Be sure to check out my nominations and give them a follow:

  1. Jennifer M. Zeiger
  2. Armageddon Cafe
  3. Yesmoreblogs
  4. The Glorious Trainwreck Mom
  5. MS//Mommy
  6. MamaDoIt
  7. Simply Chelsea Morgan
  8. Mrs. Mother Dirt
  9. Confessions of a Parentless Mother
  10. Adventuring Ever After

7 things you probably don’t know about me:

  1. I can’t do anything in a straight line. My mom never taught me to sew because I couldn’t sew in a straight line.
  2. I get sea sick at aquariums and in swimming pools.
  3. My imaginary friend was a ghost, and he still hangs around my parents’ house.
  4. Non-drowsy cold medicine makes me sleepy, so I won’t even touch the drowsy stuff.
  5. My favorite country is Denmark, but I would move to Scotland in a heartbeat.
  6. The myth of Persephone and Hades is my favorite, so I’m still mad Pluto was downgraded to Dwarf Planet (Pluto being the Roman version of Hades), but my son is obsessed with Pluto, which makes me feel a little better. I’m doing something right?
  7. I know it’s not recommended, but I have always let my kids, even as babies, nap on or next to me. I think I have separation anxiety!

Thank you so much for this nomination, and I look forward to reading what my nominees have to say! Also, if I haven’t nominated you, but you think it might be fun, consider yourself nominated!

  1. Thank you so much for the nomination! A ghost? How fascinating. And Hades and Persephone are indeed a great myth! But then, I love mythology in general because there’s so much there to work with for fantasy writing. =)

    1. Mythology really is a wonderful springboard! Actually, if you keep the story of Hades and Persephone in mind, it might explain a few things about Gates to Asphodel. Always happy to nominate you! And, yes, a ghost, a ghost with a derby hat and necktie. Makes me wonder about my childhood sometimes.

    1. Wow, we must be twins! I thought I was the only nut out there with a ghost for an imaginary friend and who gets knocked out by non-drowsy medication. Always happy to nominate you! I can’t wait to read your post!

    1. Always happy to! I’m still hoping they upgrade it back to planet, even though my son has already memorized what a dwarf planet is. I can dream, right?
