With this post, we have reached the end of the awards and tags. Thank you so much to Stephen T of Armageddon Cafe for this nomination! The Husband and I have had fun and sincerely thank everyone for thinking of and nominating us (even though The Husband is currently very busy, so must decline the nomination).
The Rules
- Acknowledge the blog who nominated you.
- Answer the 11 (or so )questions your nominators asked.
- Nominate 11 other bloggers.
- Ask them 11 questions.
- Let them know you have nominated them
The Questions
- WHAT IS YOUR PASSION?
Living life. With so many news stories of murder and suicide lately, I’m passionate about staying alive and living life. And keeping my kids alive.
- WHAT IS THE BEST THING ABOUT YOUR COUNTRY
I don’t need a passport to travel from state to state.
- WHAT IS THE MOST SELFLESS THING ANOTHER PERSON HAS DONE FOR YOU?
My mom gave birth to me. As the first child, I was also a surprise. My mom also have up having a career to raise me.
- YOUR FAVOURITE SONG?
I don’t think I have a favorite, but I can tell you the ABC song is getting on my nerves.
- YOUR FAVOURITE BOOK?
Persuasion by Jane Austen.
- WHAT IS YOUR PROUDEST MOMENT?
I don’t really know. I suppose the day we brought our daughter home and our son took to her right away. After being an only child for almost 3 years, I was so proud of him for not throwing a fit about another child taking attention away from him.
- IF YOU HAD THE POWER TO CHANGE ONE THING IN THE WORLD WHAT WOULD IT BE?
While the world isn’t perfect and there are a great many things wrong with it, I don’t think I would change anything. Changing something would alter something else and it would cascade from there. The changes might not all be for the good, so I’ll sadly say I’ll stick to the world we have.
- WHAT SUPERPOWER WOULD YOU HAVE AND WHY?
Invisibility. So I can sneak in chocolate without my kids seeing. I’m raising some serious chocoholics!
- WHERE DID YOU GROW UP?
In beautiful, sunny California!
- WHY DO YOU BLOG?
That’s a good question. I often ask myself this. Really, I think it’s just to write and see if anyone else thinks the way I do, or at least gets some entertainment from what I write.
- YOUR WISH FOR THE FUTURE?
For my children to be happy and to have a world to live in.

That’s always the tricky part, isn’t it? But kids have a way of surprising us. I was expecting something like a meltdown, but they really took to each other and don’t like being apart a year later. Good luck and congratulations!
