Last year I gave myself the insane task of post 5 days a week while raising two toddlers. Needless to say, I was exhausted halfway through the year and decreased my posting frequency.
This year, I’m trying out a new method: 6 weeks of posting followed by 1 week of break. Well, I’ve accomplished my 6 weeks (as of this post), so now I get a break. Like most of my other breaks, I won’t be posting, reading, or responding to any new comments. It’ll be a complete break all next week from blogging so I can focus on everything else in my life, and get a few things going. Hopefully.
So, be well, everyone! I’ll see you Monday the 25th, hopefully rested and a step back from blogging burnout.
Breaks are a great idea! It gives you something to work toward and I’m considering the same thing.

Breaks are wonderful. It’s a nice way to step back and breathe.

Great idea, I might need to do this. I am so behind on projects. Have a fun break making memories with your family.

This is great! I was just trying 2 a week with a toddler and felt major anxiety so now I’m just posting once a week, and if I don’t post at all then oh well. It’s so much more important spending time with my daughter! I’d be on the computer and she’d say “Mama no.” So that decided it right there for me lol. Totally take the break 😊

Yes, these tiny little humans are so much more important. Blogging is fun, but the pressure to try to do everything is not.
