WWW Wednesday is a bookish meme run by Sam@Taking on a World of Words.

It asks:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

DreamRovers: Price of Deliverance by Christie Valentine Powell

DreamRovers: Price of Deliverance by Christie Valentine Powell. This one is set to be published April 1st, so I figure I should get started on it. So far it’s interesting. There are some families where the members are able to rove through dreams, but, because of what one man did, they’re all now hunted.

The Ladies of the Secret Circus by Constance Sayers

The Ladies of the Secret Circus by Constance Sayers. This one comes out in less than a week, so another one I should get reading. Since I have a physical copy, I’m mostly reading while my kids are also trying to climb all over me, so it’s slow going, but I’ve read 3 chapters and am really enjoying it so far.

What did you recently finish reading?

Tell No Lies by Allison Brennan

Tell No Lies by Allison Brennan. The second book in the Quinn and Costa Thriller series, it’s set in Arizona near the border with Mexico. There were so many different threads in this book that were somehow linked. It was kind of a crazy ride. I wasn’t a huge fan of this book, but I really love Kara Quinn.

The Last Shadow Knight by Michael Webb

The Last Shadow Knight by Michael Webb. This one was quite a surprise. I expected high fantasy will lots of sword fighting and maybe a bit of court and political intrigue and a bunch of knights fighting to protect their home and train a young man. It turned out to be more business focused, though there was still a good bit of political intrigue and sword fighting. Surprising, but pleasantly so. Probably the best look I’ve ever gotten on how a fantasy world actually operates!

What do you think you’ll read next?

The Book of Revelations by Idelle Kursman

The Book of Revelations by Idelle Kursman. Last year, Idelle so kindly did a guest post for this blog. This year, I have the honor of reviewing her women’s fiction novel. As I’ve promised a review in April, this is definitely what I’m reading next.

The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune

Maybe The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune. This was one of the books I got for Christmas, but, after having read two other over-hyped books and having not fallen in love with either, I’m so nervous about this one that I keep putting it off. It’s been staring me down, though, so maybe it’s time to read it.
