Are There Any Dads Who Are Interested In Being A Guest At The Lily Cafe?

Dads, I know you’re out there…

Even though I’m a mom, I’m married to someone who is a dad (The Husband AKA the guy who posts on Saturdays here). I know firsthand what it’s like to be a mom, but fatherhood will always elude me. So, dads, I want to highlight you and all that you do for the next generation!

Here in the States we celebrate fathers the third Sunday of June. I would like to celebrate dads all month. Dads-to-be, new dads, experienced dads, I would love to feature how fatherhood has affected you and impacted your hearts.

I am looking for some dads who would be interested in writing about how fatherhood has affected you. If you’re interested just comment below or send me a message and we’ll go from there. I hope to hear from you!

Hi there… thi idea holds a certain appeal for me, as I’ve been thinking on this very topic of late. I have an unusual angle on fatherhood because it has happened for me recently, while in my 60s, for the first time in life — after I long supposed it would not be an element of my life this time round. Get back to me if you want to chat about it more. Thanks.

I would very much love it if you would like to be a guest! Fathers are so important and I love your unusual angle. Since it’s difficult, if not impossible, for a woman to become a mother in her 60s, I would love to highlight what it’s like to be a father in his 60s and how it is impacting your life. Thank you so much for reaching out, and I very much look forward to at least chat about it, and hope to have you as a guest!

After that, I can work on occasional guest pieces for you more about everyday life with him, and learning to be a daddy. use the name of your blog as password, ok? the link is: https://skirmisheswithreality.net/2018/03/22/burkina-boy/ — let me know if you think it fits. thanks – rob

Rob, this was so beautiful and touching it actually made me cry. Thank you so much for offering this beautiful piece and I would very much love to share it, and learn more about your journey into being a dad. He’s absolutely adorable and looks incredibly happy, but I understand wanting to protect his privacy as I do not share the pictures and names of my children as well. Thank you so much and I look forward to working with you.

Thank you 🙂 I guess I’m not the only one then — about the crying. I’ll work on editing it down, then. How do we physically do it? Do I send you text? You can reach me via email by checking my ABOUT page. Have a great day, Kat.
