Calling All Moms

I don’t know if this will work, but I am looking for some moms who would be interested in writing a guest post for this blog.

Part 1: Moms of toddlers/Moms who have survived toddlerhood

Toddlerhood is tough. That sweet little baby suddenly has this great personality, but with it often comes a battle of wills dotted among those sweet moments that can make a heart melt with love and joy.

Starting in April, I am planning a series of motherhood posts about how I am surviving toddlerhood while bracing for a second toddler. But I’m not the only mother with a toddler and I don’t have all the answers. I know there are other moms out there with awesome ideas. I also know there are moms who have survived these years and I want to know your secrets.

That being said, I am looking for some moms who would be interested in writing about this. If you’re interested just comment below or send a message. I hope to hear from you so we can all help each other.

Part 2: Mother’s Day is in May (in the States)

Here in the States we celebrate mothers the second Sunday of May. I would like to celebrate moms all month. Expectant moms, new moms, experienced moms, I would love to feature how motherhood has affected you and impacted your hearts.

I am looking for some moms who would be interested in writing about how motherhood has affected you. If you’re interested just comment below or send me a message and we’ll go from there. I hope to hear from you!

Update (March 10, 2018): I had my doubts about this working, but am overwhelmed by the interest this has gathered. A sincere thank you to all the moms who have expressed their interest! Unfortunately, this also means this call is now closed. As a busy mom myself, I am starting to be unable to keep track of everything. However, I encourage you to write about toddlerhood and motherhood anyways and let me know so I can share it here at The Lily Cafe!

I’d be interested in a guest post. I write a blog called The Sensitive, Bookish Type where it looks like I tend to write about a lot of the same subjects as you do here! Let me know if you want me to write something. 🙂 (thesensitivebookishtype.com)

I’m so glad you’re interested in writing a guest post, and thank you so much! The series on toddlerhood is scheduled for April and May, so I would be posting it during one of those months of you would like to write about toddlers. If you would prefer to share how motherhood has impacted you, I’m planning on posting those in May. Feel free to send it over either through my contact page or directly to maydaisies@aol.com. Again, thank you so much!

Hi Kat! I would be interested! I just started following you, and just started my blog but I’m always up for new adventures and opportunities! I have two little ones. My stepdaughter, Lacey,I met her when was two. She was my first taste of toddlerhood! My second, Payton, is six now, and I just barely survived toddlerhood with her sweet but stubborn little self 🙂

Oh, wow! I would love it if you could share how you’ve survived 2 toddlers! I’m only halfway there, so I would love to know how you did it and what helped, and I’m sure there are plenty of other moms who would be interested in finding out, too.

Hi Kelsey! Thank you so much for being interested in doing this! I would love to read about how you’ve survived 2 toddlers, especially after having to jump right into it! My toddlerhood series is scheduled for April and May, so I would love to post it during either month. Feel free to send it over either through my contact page or directly to maydaisies@aol.com. Again, thank you so much and I look forward to it!

  3. Unconventional Mami

First off, you are awesome! I know the juggle is real and I love how you share the different aspects of your life. I want to thank you for being my one and only follower. If I could be so honored, I would love to share how motherhood has affected me. My son Lunden is 11 years old, so I’m not sure I would have something valuable to share with those with toddlers. Is it bad that I don’t remember the struggles, the tricks I used, and how I managed to get past those years? 😕 I’m sure I do. I’m dealing with a preteen, so I think my mind is trying to cope with the mood swings. 🤦🏽‍♀️ Anyway…sorry for the rambling.

Aww, thank you so much! And I would love it if you could write about motherhood and how it affects you! My mom always tells me she doesn’t remember much from my toddler years, so she thinks it must not have been too bad. Either that or I was a terror and those years are best not remembered! Anyways, thank you for your interest and I will reach out to you soon with details.

That would be lovely! And if you do happen to write about motherhood or toddlers during the next couple of months, I would love to at least share it!

  4. mrschrissysgiggle

I am a mom with empty nest syndrome and totally lost in my identification as a person. I been a mom for 25yrs and now they all have own lives and starting out a new life as grandma. I still have experience to share.

I would love to! I have a two year old – Harrison . Toddler life is rough…but also pretty hilarious! I feel like a ninja nursing him and most of the time I’m cleaning up cold coffee he’s knocked over – but I wouldn’t trade it for the world!! I just started blogging and also have a photography business (storytellerphotographic.com).

Sounds fantastic! And I would love it if you’d like to participate. If you’d like you can send me a post through my contact page or let me know when you post it on your blog so I can share it. Toddlerhood is wonderful and I hope I can highlight that. Best of luck on your blogging journey!
