Here lies so lovely

Here lies so lovely
A child –
On the brink of Death
So sweet of face and breath –
Breath so shallow and light
And eyes of shining gem
But with lips so parted
And doesn’t draw a breath
So lovely in death as life
A still life portrait –
A doll with pale cheeks
And dreams shot from the sky
So lovely in death she lies
Eternal slumber and dark dreams
Away her soul floats –
To join those orphans of the dark
And bid sweet farewell
To sunrise and moonrise
So lovely in death
So lively in life
Here likes so lovely
A child –
Upon her deathbed.
