It’s The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

Hello everyone! So sorry to have disappeared for a little bit. Happy Holidays to all!

I thought that my comeback would be with some complaints, but actually, it’s not that time of the year. However, it is the “most wonderful time of the year!” Really, this is my favorite time. Not because of the possibility of getting things,or because of gift giving. I have learned over my shoft existence that the joy, at least for me, comes one place: the joy of spending time with those you care about and love. Over the last few years, we have been very blessed. While we have had some challenges along the way, at the end of the year, we reflect on what has taken place and where we are. In addition, I have had the privilege of watching my kids grow. And equally important growing more in love with the love of my life – Kat.

This year is particularly filled with a little bit of everthing. We lost some very loved family members and dealt with additional changes. The dust is settling now. Our kids are adjusting to the new environment. Kat and I are finding time to spend with each other and grow. We just recently put up our tree with the decorations. This year, the kids helped. I honestly don’t want the to grow up too fast. But that is happening! My son is ready to go on Star Tours! Though Buzz Lightyear is his favorite ride at Disneyland, I think that may change after Star Tours!

I have so much to say; so many opinions on so many subjects. Including the elephant in the room that is our political system. However, this is not that time.
I want to wish everyone a Happy, Joyous, Healhy and Prosperous Holiday Season in what ever your tradition is. In my tradition, I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

  1. Thoroughly enjoyed every bit of the post and glad that everyone in the family is adjusting to changes. Kids are always a stress buster and a complimenting partner is a blessing. I agree it’s no fun growing up so fast and I sincerely wish there was something we could do about it 😛 . Wish you guys a Merry X-Mas and Happy New Year 😀 .

  2. Happy new year for you all too! I hope to read you back as soon as everything is settled for you. I envy your blogging partnership, you and kat. It’s a nice and healthy balance. My wife has a blog on her own…but a corporative one. Boooooring….
