Unfortunately, it’ll still be some time before I return. While my academic duties are finished, I have new ones that’ll keep me busy for a few months. A few months ago I wrote I was expecting my first baby in mid-August. Well, the little guy decided he liked early July better. So that’s where I’ve been for the past few weeks: non-stop rounds of feeding, diaper changes, and sleep deprived wonderings of what exactly sleep is again. We’re also moving across the country next week, so that’s keeping me busy as well. With any luck, I’ll be back sometime in the fall. Fingers crossed.
Today is the first of July, and that can only mean one thing. Well, three things actually. 1. Camp NaNoWriMo starts today! I first found NaNoWriMo in 2007 and have participated diligently since then. I was thrilled when Camp NaNo started, and have done every session of it so far. This month, I’m planning on writing an odd fairy tale romance based on a dream I had the other night, complete with Disney princesses (that kind of fairy tale). It’ll be the first romance I ever attempt, so we’ll see how it goes. I’ll probably end up regretting not doing the rewrite of the sci-fi story I wrote back in…
