Upon the vine

The gently curling vine
The large showy leaves
The delectable red spheres
Winding up and down
The slender white pillar
Tight bunches of red
Poking from behind leaves
Blushing deeply from the sun
Stretched out along wires
In rows and rows
Triangular bunches reaching
Towards the azure sky
And bright yellow star
Stem and leaves glowing green
Hiding the red fruit
Until harvest time
For sweetest wine.
